PROJECT MANAGEMENT AS A KEY SUCCESS FACTOR IN GLOBAL COMPETITION
The number of development cooperations and networks is rising constantly. In 2010 alone, 76 cooperations in the automotive and power supply sectors were announced in Europe, 43 in the Asian Pacific region, and 30 in the USA. At the same time, it's a fact that the costliest problems are the result of conflicts in cross-company collaboration along the value chain.
Consequently, efficient project management in complex and distributed value chain networks is a key success factor in global competition.
Together with its partner HP, ACTANO offers various models in this area.
END-TO-END COLLABORATION IN DEVELOPMENT NETWORKS
RPLAN e3 is specially developed for project management in value added networks and synchronizes all project partners on the basis of a uniform, end-to-end system of planning and control. It thus integrates partners into a homogeneous, project-oriented development environment.
However, it is not necessary for development partners to have their own RPLAN installation. RPLAN e3 cloud services enable companies to use RPLAN in a scalable and efficient way without having to invest in their own hardware.
BENEFITS OF USING RPLAN E3 CLOUD SERVICES
- Easy entry: Simple entry to collaborative project management, no minimum number of users
- Ready-to-go: Short familiarization period, high level of acceptance among employees
- Best practice: RPLAN standard function set is the de-facto standard in the automotive industry
- Powerful: RPLAN e3 collaborative project management covers the entire Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle
- Scalable: Flexibility in the scope and duration of use
- Cost control: Pay-per-use, no capital investment in hardware, infrastructure and licenses
- Economical: No commitment of company-internal resources to additional IT tasks
- High performance and security: Our partner HP contributes experience, infrastructure and security
