ACTANO is Germany's largest vendor of project management solutions. Founded in 1989 as a spin-off of the University of Munich, the company has established itself over the last 20 years as a leading German specialist in the planning, management and control of complex projects.
RPlan is at the center of ACTANO's solution portfolio. In numerous companies in a variety of industry sectors RPlan has been synonymous with best-in-class planning quality and optimized project management processes in product and IT development over the past 15 years. Currently RPlan has more than 90,000 users worldwide.

RPlan structures the project and process steps that are crucial to success – from program management through portfolio management, scheduling and resource planning, to the presentation and visualization of project management data and results specifically for senior management. ACTANO currently has a workforce of 160 employees at its head office in Munich and at its subsidiaries in Stuttgart, Wolfsburg, Hanover, Magdeburg and Detroit/USA. In order to develop and deliver its high-quality, future-oriented portfolio, the company has entered into partnerships with leading solution providers and consulting houses (including SAP, Siemens PLM, PTC, and Accenture).
